- the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN)

Eligibility
To register to vote in New York State you must:
- be a U.S. citizen;
- be 18 years old by December 31 of the year in which you file this form (note: you must be 18 years old by the date of the general, primary or other election in which you want to vote);
- live at your present address at least 30 days before an election;
- not be in prison for a felony conviction and;
- not claim the right to vote elsewhere.

- *NEW* voting rights restored to parolees, post-incarceration to facilitate community reintegration and participation in the civic process, rather than requiring a parolee to wait until he or she has been discharged from parole or reached the maximum expiration date of the underlying sentence. 2024 Voter Registration, Enrollment, and Address Change
You must keep your voter registration address up to date. To update your voting address you must complete a new voter registration form.
The Political Party Change of Enrollment Deadline for 2024 Primary Elections is February 14, 2024 for the Board to receive an enrollment change. Any political Party change made after February 14, 2024 will not take effect until after the June 25th Primary Election.
June 15 – Voter registration deadline for June Primary: Last day application must be received by board of elections to be eligible to vote in the primary election.
June 15 – Change of address for Primary received by this date must be processed.
October 26 – Voter registration deadline for General: Last day application must be received by board of elections to be eligible to vote in general election.
October 21 – Change of address for General received by this date must be processed.
